COVID19 Updated Policies

June 2020

  • When making an appointment, please disclose if you have any signs or symptoms of COVID19 or have had contact with someone who does.

  • For possible COVID 19 illness or exposure, the child/family will be directed to the proper medical facility for testing and care.

  • Telemedicine is offered by phone or video but there are conditions or diseases that cannot be diagnosed without confirmatory exams, tests, and/or lab work.

  • Other visits to the office are still needed.

  • If the waiting rooms are full, we request that you wait in the car until an examination room is available.

   COVID19 SYPMTOMS

People with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported – ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19:

  • Fever or chills

  • Cough

  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

  • Fatigue

  • Muscle or body aches

  • Headache

  • New loss of taste or smell

  • Sore throat

  • Congestion or runny nose

  • Nausea or vomiting

  • Diarrhea

This list does not include all possible symptoms. CDC will continue to update this list as we learn more about COVID-19.
